Shapes, Extends, Easy to Use

Cobra Introducer has the potential to become the most sought after instrument in the management of a difficult airway. Cobra Introducer allows a medical professional to perform intubations with difficult anatomy, turning the situation we’ve all been in, “I can see it but I just can’t get there” into a  much easier secured airway, often without the use of expensive equipment or without learning  a significantly new technique.

Cobra Introducer is novel in its design to address the problem of lining up the endotracheal tube at the trachea during intubation. Using a simple telescoping extension that can be activated by the anesthesiologist without changing the grip.

The outer wire has the flexibility to be shaped through the throat and placed close to the opening of the trachea. At that point, the inner wire can be advanced the final length into the trachea, making the placement of the tube easier, especially when used with video laryngoscopes.

New Product: Cobralet
The new Cobralet introducer offers significant advantages in routine and difficult intubations. Like the Cobra Introducer, without the telescopic extension, Cobralet’s unique shape holding design helps with intubations, yet it is soft and flexible to reduce potential for trauma.
Paired with a video laryngoscope the easy to use Cobralet introducer allows you to reach the trachea fast and successfully.

I appreciated the opportunity to handle and review the Cobra Introducer™. With the number of difficult intubations increasing, I believe it is critical that all Medical Personnel have a device that works even under the most challenging conditions with or without assistance of laryngoscope and on sedated or conscious patients. This is particularly critical for me in my role training Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and military personnel in Kentucky and Tennessee.

What makes the Cobra Introducer™ compelling is the telescoping extension can be activated by all professionals without changing the grip. The outer sheath has the ability to be shaped through the throat and placed close to the opening of the trachea. At that point, the telescoping monofilament can be advanced the final length into the trachea, making the placement of the tube much easier. This novel feature should reduce the number of unsuccessful intubation attempts so critical in emergency and difficult intubations especially in less than ideal conditions. In addition, practicing Paramedics, Military Medics, Resuscitation Teams, Emergency Physicians, CRNA’s and Anesthesiologist’s should find the Cobra Introducer™ easy to use as it requires no additional training and can be handled in the same manner as other introducers.

I look forward to your product being available in the market place and using it in my operations.
